Modern Romeo and JulietI liked the pacing， the characters， and the background for this modern-day Romeo and Juliet love story。 Unlike those classic lovers however， Deke and Lily are able to seemingly make it - or do they？ What I loved was the interaction of the family。 I can tell that this is the first of a series because there are so many secondary characters who are just primed to take center stage for steamy romances of their own。 There was a clear attempt at balance between reasonably sane， Modern Romeo and JulietI liked the pacing， the characters， and the background for this modern-day Romeo and Juliet love story。 Unlike those classic lovers however， Deke and Lily are able to seemingly make it - or do they？ What I loved was the interaction of the family。 I can tell that this is the first of a series because there are so many secondary characters who are just primed to take center stage for steamy romances of their own。 There was a clear attempt at balance between reasonably sane， partly sane， and completely off the wall characters on both sides of family。 While Haven Isle is meant to be a respite， the true haven lies in the love story between Deke and Lily and their yummy physical connection。 While love provides a haven for these two， the families provide enough angst to go around。 Will they manage to survive their families better than Romeo and Juliet did？ Or will they crash or burn？I liked the ride， the angst， and can't wait to read the rest of the series。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more

feelings was so new she didn't even wanted to share it with Valley and Mads because she didn't want them to think that she was crazy。 Damien was Declan older brother when he found out that he bought the penthouse next Lily he told him that he had to move and he want him to stay away from her until he found him another place。 But Declan wasn't going to let his brother push him around and tell him what to do his life moreover he liked his place and especially since he Lily had already started a relationship。 The two went back to Haven Isle and Declan realized nothing had changed the hatred for the Lockhart was strong he just could not understand why his dad hated that family so much and thought them to do the same so he asked him。 As it turns out the hatred stems from the Kents felt that
